Thank goodness for FT8, I never heard these guys on any other mode. A really remarkable effort by the team - thank you guys!
I think they will cfm on another website ONCE you oqrs, then you can import the cfm from the "other" website into qrz. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think so...
Pay on Clublog (OQRS)->Get the paper qsl and the electronic confirmation on LoTW, Import the LoTW confirmation into QRZ.
Incredible experience .. I remember the failed exp to Heard about 3/4 years ago got the lad on 40 4/4 half way there MM, next day the ship nearly sank 73 Rod
That's what I thought it meant. I quit collecting wallpaper many years ago. Got drawers full of QSL cards. A few from countries that don't exist anymore. Not an award chaser either. Just would like a confirmation for my own benefit but not going to pay for it. To each their own. 170 DXCC entities and counting.
N5KBP, According to the CY9C website they will confirm 3 ways: via OQRS (ClubLog), Direct to the QSL manager in the USA along with a SASE (or $5), OR via LotW. So if you are using LotW you can export your QSO from your QRZ logbook into LotW. Then import any QSO's that the operators had logged into LotW into your QRZ Logbook. In the QRZ Logbook, the yellow Star indicating confirmations will have a circle around it indicating a confirmation of your QSO via LotW. QRZ will honor LotW confirmations for QRZ awards. No circle around the star indicates confirmation at QRZ logbook direct. Hope this helps. Jim PS: Thanks to the team for providing us a chance to work another rare DX location! I was able to work them on FT8 Super Hound 20,30,40,and 160 meters. I worked them on regular Hound mode FT8 on 80 meters. I tried a few times on other bands using CW and SSB but couldn't get through the pileups. Thanks for 20,30,40,80, and 160 meters! Everyone should check out their webpage. You can see what the team had to go through so we could work a rare DX location. PLUS another IOTA location. Much time and many dollars were spent to do this. I don't mind making a small donation to help. Even for a QSL. 73 Jim
