    Man it really stinks that they put so much effort in to do this for everyone and had to deal with pirates spoofing them as well as from what I heard a lot of bad practice from chasing stations like tuning on frequency and working simplex when it should be on split. I appreciate their efforts for sure. They had an uphill battle the whole way.

    No kidding!

    I finally heard them today and it wasn't three minutes until the '7200kHz mentality' showed up and did their thing. I gave up at that point.

    I "think" I worked them on 15 CW this afternoon. They were just above the noise and I could hear them when the QRM stopped. Tried to work them for about 2 hours -(listening for about 1 hour and 53 minute) to figure out their method. They'd pop out of the noise then fade right back in. Finally found who they were working, couple calls later I heard my call come back, gave my report and "think" they responded = some IDIOT started sending UP, UP....... Hopefully next log upload will have my call in it, #326!!

    Just before 0100z, the generator shut down. This would be the beginning of the end for 3Y0J operations. Shortly after 0300z - as announced previously - we got official word the DXpedition was QRT and the camp was being dismantled.

    The team has raised enough money for the expedition - why are they asking money for the cards?
    If I'm not mistaken, this directly contradicts all amateur radio rules.
