KB9YTV writes "I have been Talking to Hams on PALTALK, a nice little program that helps people to DX all around the world. I recently heard that the Indian Red Cross Society doesn't understand the usefulness of Ham Radio Operators in emergency situations.

After the 7.3 EarthQuake they had out there, with the expected 100,000 dead, I feel that all hams should stick together, and we should send a letter to the Indian Red Cross,India really needs to recognize how useful Ham radio is during an emergency and that they need to support the operators with funds and equipment.

If anyone feels the same as I do, the address is:

    Indian RedCross Society

    Karanataka Branch

    #1 Thimmaiah Road

    Bangalore 560052

    INDIA"
