Just a heads up for those that might have use for a tiny 12 volt dc tiny audio amp. Has volume, bass & tone controls. I saw this listing on Amazon and could not believe my eyes at the price. I bought two and they are super for what they are meant for. For NINE BUCKS DELIVERED I figured it was too good to pass up. They are only rated at 4 watts each channel RMS. It requires about 350 to 400 mils dc. It does not come with the power supply. I hooked it up to a pair of old efficient JBL L100 speakers and was amazed at the clarity and volume. Anyway, Amazon has them in stock. If you want to look at them type into the search box: "12V 2 CH Mini Digital Audio Power Amplifier AMP For HiFi MP3 Car" and you will come up with it. I have no financial interest in this item. Just wanted to pass on a good deal to others. 73, Len WA3TJO in Colorado

I have a possible use, I think. An old timer I know (88) is losing his hearing and can't here the warning signal his car puts out for leaving the lights on. This should raise the level to something he can hear at cheap price.

Maybe he can there the warning signal if he can't here it?

His hearing is not good, the warning signal for lights left on is a very very low chime on his vehicle, much lower than most cars. Just needs amplified to a decent level then he could hear it. He can hear the one in my jeep fine but it's nice and loud.

Nice for a homebrew external speaker, no one says you have to use both channels.

Geez - what the hell - I just ordered one. Don't know what I need it for, but sometimes I get impulsive!

    Thanks for the heads up

Actually had something like this in the back of my head for motorcycle helmet speakers.
Might be nice for a little phone/mp3 player as well.

    hehehe :D

BTW, thanks again for the metal "grill cloth" - going to use the other piece
for the speaker grill on my upcoming "HC-10" Heathkit matching console
for my HW-16/HG-10 combo - even going to mock up a 1974-esque ad for
it from Heathkit announcing the new product! Perfect to have the same
grill as the HD-10 keyer. That's seriously good grill material and I really
appreciate the donation to the cause!
