Although I didn't know Max as well as I would have liked to, I knew him well enough to admire his knowledge, his skill as an operator, and above all his character . Max was one of those rare people that carried no pretense, he said what he felt, and meant what he said, and did so with rarely a negative word. He would gladly help anyone that asked and not ask for anything in return. He was always one of the first to reach out to the new members of the ham community to share his knowledge and experience. Max was a good ham and a good man, he will be missed.

You were a great man you will missed. Last year at field day Max took all the qso's and log qso 's and submited them to the ARRL . He was a great newletter editor. I feel very sad tonight . Like having a Ham brother pass on . God bless his family and friends.

    R.I.P. Max!

I will miss his presense in our community.

He was the 'go to' Elmer when anyone had a question on antennas.

He knew where to find almost anything amateur radio.

King Zero Merry Christmas, I....WE....are going to miss you.
