My furthest QSO have so far been Tasmania on 40 m and that's not too far from there. And I had a T2FD antenna...

if it was a Crown Vic or Ford Explorer there is a very high probability it uses Ford key X1284. Ford has, or had, one key for all fleet vehicles. X1284 works on cop cars, taxis and rental cars

What would the "Call before you dig" 811 number tell you if you called and told them in a serious voice that you were going to dig a hole through the earth?
