Ahh...nothing like QRZ to bring out the best in Amateur Radio.

Imagine if this applied to a restaurant menu. The OP would want them to post every ingredient and where it was sourced from, for every menu item. McDonalds would have to rent a billboard to display their menu.

If it were applied to the actual OP your example would have been “Eat”. The rest is up to you right?

You are attempting to sell a product. Some percentage of the viewers will buy (donate). This is a numbers game. It is in your interest to entice as many to view as possible. You are asking for a significant time investment (almost 1.75 hours in this case). There are reasons that ford, ram and chevy truck commercials are not one sentence long: "We sell trucks, google us". The section on Pi-star was around 70 minutes in. It was interesting, and I found the answers to a couple of questions.

Boys boys. It seems that the both of you have had your egos stepped on a bit. ‘Tis best that you both drop it, step back a bit quaff a bit o tea, breath deeply and move on. The world will be a better place, and fewer bytes will be consumed.

Amazing. Three pages of comments and not one about the subject of the thread. Ah, QRZ! :p

For those who haven't tried Pi-Star, it is becoming the default operating system for hotspots. It works with the most popular digital modes, D-Star, YSF, and DMR...and is loaded with features. Even more impressively, the developers continue to update it--the dashboard is updated every few weeks, despite it being FREEWARE (some here didn't bother to find out that this is not for-pay software with a marketing program behind it).
