A perfect start for my QRZ forum career with my quite stupid question :)

a good ham fellow of mine who lives nearby pointed out that my FT8 overs starts with speech synthesizer announcements. I did not believe him at first, but after recording my own tx I have to believe him. :)

I'm using USB cable connection and WSJT-X software. How on earth I can find the right setting from my 7300 to turn it off? It is pretty annoying, causing interference and I believe it also delays my FT8 keying, too. I tried to find the right settings from the manual - no luck so far.

Thanks in advance to help me get back on air without any unwanted companions. I hope to hear many of you on the bands!

Problem solved. It turned to be JTAlertX software which alerted "new prefix" "new continent" etc. Now I have to figure out how to isolate its voice out of my audio path. But the easiest way is simply turn sounds off from JTAlertX.
