ICOM America has announced a new Ham Radio community portal, with a Ham Club and Hamfest sponsorship program. Under this new program, clubs and hamfests enter a drawing to receive swag, radios, presentations, and even radio prizes.

Their Club Net page makes it super easy to contact ICOM with the details of your club, the club's interests, activities, membership, etc., and each month there is a drawing for cool prizes. It's a wonderful way to get great merchandise, presentations, information and swag that will make your meeting(s) more enjoyable for all.

In addition, ICOM's new Hamfest Net page is tailored specifically for hamfests and other large gatherings of amateurs and offers the same sort of drawing for merchandise and benefits.

Either way, ICOM is definitely interested in giving back to the community and these two pages make it easier than ever before to contact ICOM and get to the right person, right away.

Both Club Net and Hamfest Net can be viewed at http://www.icomamerica.com/hams

In addition to the two sites mentioned above, ICOM is also sponsoring a Ham Radio Community page which lists a number of internet resources, videos, podcasts and websites that are of interest to hams everywhere. The Community Portal may be found at:

Hats off to ICOM for stepping up with their support of our community.

Indeed, Icom does a great job supporting the amateur radio community. Their marketing is second to none. :)
