Is there any software available that I can use to control my radios in much the same way you can with the Kenwood software that is available?

There are lots of software packages that can work with those rigs, but presuming that you want something more than mere rig control. Look at the Icom RS-BA1 software. It's a bit expensive but may meet your needs.

Yep there's plenty of software. Have a look at Ham Radio Deluxe.

I'd agree with K3dcw on RS-BA1, bought it with my 9100. works great but
then I found out the digital programs like fldigi, wsjt, mmsstv, sat32pc all command it directly
    Havent tried HDR
I dont use it as much now, but it works
I did buy it especially for network remote control, kinda neat idea to be able to operate the rig
via the home network from the laptop
