    Perhaps someone can help....

My ICOM 718 is working perfectly with one exception. Power, into a 50 ohm dummy load, is falling off as frequency goes up. 90w on 160m, 80w on 80m, 70w on 40, 20, 17 meters. At one time, I'm pretty sure they were all at 100w. Any suggestions?

Not an expert here but... Every radio I've ever had, (TS-520s, TS 120s, Ts-940, IC706MkII, IC756 PIII ) all fall off in power as you go up in frequency. So, I'd say that it's fairly normal.

I'm sure someone will be along shortly to clarify or to obfuscate, whichever is more fun!

70 watts seems a bit less than normal. Could the power supply voltage be a bit low?

What is the voltage at the radio connector when the transmitter is keyed. It should be 13.8 VDC.
This is kind of hard to measure sometimes.
Losing even a 1/2 volt, can have a dramatic effect output power.
