I moved to a new QTH and have started reassembling the station. One thing that is not working correctly now is FT-8 on the IC-7700. I have for years used the BS-BA1 Icom remote software to run FT-8 via the LAN. At the new QTH it absolutely will not work on Ft-8 and throws the hamlib error message "Hamlib error: Command rejected by the rig while getting current mode" I am at a total loss as to how to remedy this problem. The remote software is working perfectly but something has changed. Any ideas would be welcome...
Having the same problem here with my FT991A. everything was working fine 2 days ago, then poof. Hamlib error: Communication timed out while getting current frequency
