I just got a new Icom IC-7300 and want to set up some voice memories. The most obvious one to start with seems like a simple CQ. I recorded my CQ and it plays back just fine. However, when I try to send it, nothing happens at all. All the YouTube videos make it look so simple and straightforward, but it just doesn't do anything when I try it. Any suggestions?
On my rig (not an IC-7300) I have to have Break In on for recorded messages to key the transmitter. The IC-7300 may have something similar.
I still don't know why this didn't work, but I solved the problem by doing a partial reset of the rig. All is good now.
