    Try sweeping the audio. It goes to at least 100Hz, actually lower (perhaps with some rolloff).

    Given that there is a setting in the menus to set the high pass filter to cutoff at 100Hz it definitely goes below 200Hz for SSB. You can hear it too. 200Hz cutoff would sound terrible. I don't know where this bit of misinformation came from, but people sure keep repeating it.

    The one I had did NOT go below 200 Hz on AM.
    Maybe Icom changed something in the high pass filter after the D/A converter?

    That's correct. On AM, the TX and RX roll off pretty fast at 200Hz, SSB TX/RX is slightly better at 100Hz.
    Makes it a pretty awful RX for broadcast AM and frustrating for Amateur AM.
