IC-7300 at 2800 feet elevation on Mont Hereford Québec DX

    I bring my Icom IC-7300 to the top of Mont Hereford, Québec, Canada at 2800 feet elevation (875 meters) to do DX contacts, I will be operating on battery and transmitting a full 100W on a 33 foot vertical antenna. Fortunately we can drive all the way up so I can bring all my gears.
    We have a very good and sunny day with low wind, let’s make some DX contacts! (Italy, Slovenia, Spain)
    Due to gusting winds at times, I had to lower volume at some places and cut video segments.
    Note that this recording was on a weekday so less overall activity compared to a weekend.

    Next time bring a pillow to sit on top of that cooler! nice video...I work a lot of portable myself ...especially when I go on vacation to the islands usvi ...right now it's early morning in St. Croix usvi and I'm watching your video having coffee before I go and work some portable myself....lol...best 73 Joe ka3cnc

    Thank you all for your great comments, I really enjoyed this expedition and sharing it with you.
    Luckily there was a great leveled platform for the setup.
    I was right on top of the emblem, it says "Be humble, be creative and be good" ;)
