Looking for an Icom OPC-581 for IC-706 MKII Separation Cable. don't want to pay a fortune. I only need it to be about 2 feet long - even handmade would do.

Do a search here for RV4YY.
He has a kit type cable that seems to be working quite well.

I am also working on making a custom one for my radio. I am planning on making a few extra and making them available to help bring the cost per cable down. I think they will be around $60 for a fully assembled cable, so the kit will probably still be the cheapest option, but I should know more in a week or so.

I just built the one from RV4YY (just had to solder a few things). Works great - and good price.
