Yes, I consider it Icom's fault. They can put their foot down, yet they allow it. Honestly, given the situation, they may as well not sell the products in the market, because the prices are so outlandish ($1,500 and up for an Icom 7300) that I'd never bother buying one. It's their business. I now buy Yaesu and Kenwood. I've never had to repair a Yaesu here, but Kenwood has no problem servicing other radios from outside of the country. So yes... I fault Icom.
