IARU predicts end to mandatory code tests

Since I got on the air 30 plus years ago, QRP ragchewing on CW has and continues to be my favorite HF activity. But face the facts...CW is dead for new hams...all the arguments are history...the future will see the cw requirement removed in the USA. All arguments are moot.Those of us that enjoy CW will continue to use it, but CW as a license requirement will be history.
