I drew mine up one night, I really enjoyed looking at the old QSL cards so I figured I'd make my own.

Recently I read that there is some controversy about handwritten QSL cards. I gather that some people believe that QSL cards should only be pre-printed. What do you think? What will you do if you receive an ordinary postcard with QSO info in handwriting?

Why not? Do whatever you want, I'm not particular. Why someone would insist on a professionally printed product is beyond me. Confirmation of the qso is the whole point of the card, right?
