I use a 746 pro in CW QRP. As per the manufacturer, it's less than 5 watts RF output.... on radio shows no output rf, however, it is transmitting due to amp load increase on Astron power supply.

Anyone know the actual rf output at the lowest in CW, my outboard meters are not that accurate .

    Thanks ,de WI4MM ..

As per the manual, minimum output power is 2 watts.

My manual reads "5 watts or considerably less". Thanks for your reply.

Maybe get the output power meter calibrated. But still it'll be reading around 2 - 5 watts on a 100 watt scale. Accuracy????

Most of the ones I've seen on the Icom radios are all about the same/ between 1 to 3 watts, now that's QRP/ you don't see any output on the actual meter but you're still putting up at least a Watt or 2
