It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my dear friend and a true pillar of amateur radio in Saudi Arabia, HZ1MD (Silent Key). He was one of the founding members of the Saudi Amateur Radio Society and a true Elmer to numerous radio operators across Saudi Arabia and the GCC countries. His profound knowledge, patience, and unwavering support touched the lives of countless hams in our community. He will be dearly missed, but his legacy and the knowledge he imparted will live on through all of us. 73 DE HZ1LR
