Realizing this is a longshot, I'll nevertheless give it a shot.

I'm aligning the 2.5/0.5 khz filter on an HRO500.

The 230 kHz filter has 6 LC circuits. The manual instructs you to adjust the 6 trimmer capacitors at a particular frequency, and if any pole of the filter is out of range of the trimmer cap, to move the coil "pot'". Without further direction or illustration.

I've looked at this a while, and can't figure out how one moves the pot/slug - it doesn't look like anything I've ever seen, I don't see any obvious adjustments, and since things are in pretty good shape otherwise, I'm reluctant to force anything.

Is anyone familiar with the HRO500 and this particular adjustment?

    Thanks.
