Can somebody tell me if the database that HRD uses is the same as the database that LOG4OM users? I was wondering if it would be possible to have the two programs sharing the same database. In other words, I have LOG4OM installed on one computer and I have HRD installed on another computer which is in the shack. I store my database on a hard disk drive which is shared by all my computers on the network

To do what you wish, the two applications would have to employ the same database schema -- the detailed definition of database tables, records within each table, and fields within each record.

Unless the two development teams explicitly decided to maintain a common schema, the probability of it happening is about the same as two monkeys independently typing the same Shakespearean Sonnet.
