I finally had a chance to take the Buddistick Pro for a walk in the park. Setup was pretty straightforward, and I found an electric fence post at Lowes for the radio. I tapped the coil for 20m before assembly and rolled out the length of wire specified in the manual and the swr sweet spot was out of the general part of the band. I ended up only having to adjust it twice to get the sweet spot near the middle of the band. It has a high q coil so its pretty easy with an analyzer to get it set. These are now available on the Buddipole website and I am looking forward to more POTA! By the way, I got Alaska during this test from Texas!
Thanks for the video, I can’t seem to find this Buddistick on sale in the U.K. yet. I will keep looking though looks like a good choice.
