I’ve got an iPhone, Alexa, Ring, and SmartThings. How can I remote key my transmitter while I’m outside working on my antennas?

I don’t have access to the arrl site but dxzone looks interesting. Thanks. I’m using HRD on a windows 10 pc.

Here is an idea since you have an iPhone.

Go to Amazon (etc...) and buy a smart plug; I use VeSync.
    - Use a wall wart to power a simple relay. Get the mains power for the wall wart via the VeSync smart plug.
    - Connect that relay to the PPT on your rig.
    - Use the VeSync app on your iPhone to turn ON/OFF the VeSync smart plug.
    - the VeSync plugs are also "Alexa friendly"

If you'll be "hands on" with your antenna while working, I wouldn't recommend transmitting at all.:)

Small, portable (pocket sized) antenna analyzers do this job well while producing only about 10 mW output power, which is perfectly safe including touching stuff.

The simple way is to run a dual wire with a switch to the mike ptt plug with the radio in am or fm to get a carrier. Or, you can use the accy plug on the back of the radio. Maybe use a foot switch.
