Is it possible to record both sub and main channels on the ID-5100? I know you can select rx, tx or both. I actually only really care about the SUB, but both would be great. Here is my situation: I am doing FM satellites with the ID-5100. I want to be able to record the RX side with is on the sub channel. On the ID-5100 you can not have the TX and RX in different bands. So I tune the RX on the Sub and TX on the Main. Very few folks use the ID-5100 for this as far as I can tell, and you folks would have more experience with this in this forum versus the Satellite forum. And, yes, I have read the manual.
My experience is it will only record the MAIN channel. Just double-checked it with WX on the SUB channel, and it did not record anything. It would only record when I had some audio on the MAIN channel.
