How to find your Grid for VHF work

    Get a microcontroller and a GPS module, and write code to calculate / display grid square from GPS coordinates. Really easy with a Raspberry Pi and a USB GPS dongle. Slightly more work for an Arduino, TTL GPS module and a LCD display.

    I think my Garmin GPS II is even older...:confused: and it still has Maidenhead Grids as one of the display options. Maidenhead may be standard with Garmin GPS products.
