I can't seem to figure this one out. How do you edit your own forum post after it's already been posted?

You can only edit for a half hour after it's posted. At the bottom of the message, click on the 'EDIT' word and an edit window opens.

Ah ha, got it, thanks. Does the Edit button also allow you to delete a post?

You can only edit a new thread or post for the first 30 min. After that you have no edit rights. If you create a new thread and then decide that you don't want to post it you can only remove the data. You cannot delete a thread.

Please se the link below for information on how to remove all data/delete a newly created thread within the first 30 min.

No... not in general... I think I did see at least one subforum where you could delete though but not sure which one that was, or why it was different.

To delete a post, while still in the edit time window, just replace all your text with a period... that's all that will show.

Same as the Edit button, the Delete button is also available during the first 30 minutes after posting your thread or post to a thread.

    It is? In all forums?

    Not in this one!

You think you're seeing that because of your moderator status?

Correct KN7S can delete because he has moderator rights. An end user cannot delete a post or thread once posted or created.
