Sometimes, mainly at bad conditions I run into the situation that the other station asks back to my callsign, like this: HA2ZB? so the call is correct, but the OM doesn't seem to be sure. I normally do the one of the followings: 1) Simply repeat: HA2ZB HA2ZB ... then comes again HA2ZB?, so I repeat until finally he (she) believes... 2) I tried sending CFM HA2ZB, or simply CFM, but in many cases "??" comes back, the partner seems to be confused (expecting only the callsign - or what?)... so I revert back to point 1, spending some more time. The issue is that if I repeat the callsign, the other station may believe that the first version was wrong, and does the best to receive - but it was ok for the first time... I have listened a lot of QSOs, but have not seen any fast solution. What is your practice? I miss the simple way to send "YES, THAT IS MY CALLSIGN, GO AHEAD" (would not send this of course ). Thanks for your advice!
