Hi, I would like to know how Easyterm comunicates with soundmodem, in order to be able to implement TX of AFSK-Messages directly in our Satellite commanding software.

Why: We would like to directly send commands from our satellite command application to soundmodem (AFSK 1200 bauds) in order to get the command message modulated and sent via Transmitter.

Using Easyterm this works fine, but you need to type the command manually, which is not so nice.

We are currently programing a GUI to be able to visualize the received AFSK1200bauds messages. - this works fine using TCP 8100.

The GUI also has a set of buttons and slyders in order to setup commands for the satellite. The GUI generates the nessesary command-string and should send it directly to UZ7HO soundmodem. We tried to do so using tcp port 8000, but until now we have no success. Thats why I am wondering how Easyterm establishes a connection to UZ7HO soundmodem? Are there additional commands to be send in order to convince soundmodem to accept the command strings for our satellite? Is there a special format needed?

    Please help,
    Tank you,
