Scott Weber is Joining me to talk about how does an antenna receive a radio wave. We dive into Antenna Theory to understand the process. Whats the next basic topic you think i should cover next?

Tank radio Needs to chill out.
Excessive yelling is a quick way to get your show ignored.

Resistance is futile, we just don't understand him and the world around us: ...

Nice explained theory. But it only shows the base knowledge to frequencys which got a quasi optical spread. Shortwave is another thing, in cause of the layers which are leading the signals too. So that the so called frequent and periodical hops are not really existing.

Somehow I understand. Thank you very much.

While it explained the transmitter end well it was quite shy on the receiver end.
(No stranger to induced voltages here)
Receive antennas do not need to be full length or even resonant, transmission Line does not even need to be low impedance.
But using low impedance transmission line and antennas of resonant lengths vastly improve the induced signals to the receiver.

Eventually i plan on downloading the various videos and archiving them in collections along with other pertinent useful knowledge I can dig up,
I want to make them available for new Amateurs.

Good subject matter, and presented well; however, the whole yelling thing... yeah, that needs to stop. Won't be watching anymore of his videos.

Videos like that need to be mixed with modern technology demos as well for today's youths to get a better understanding they can relate to better.
Animated depictions of components and how they function are out there but should be compiled.

There are seven points of consideration when doing a public presentation. They are:

    #1. The speaker

    #2. The message
    #3. The audience
    #4. The channel
    #5. Feedback
    #6. The noise
    #7. The place or situation

Shouting at the audience is not included in any of them. I would guess that the speaker is attempting to show enthusiasm for the topic, but it comes across as insincere and cartoonish. I stopped at 20 seconds in and will not return to watching that YT channel.

Absolutely agree. I lasted about 15 seconds and would never visit one of their productions ever again.
