6 and 10 FT8 were open tonight on the East coast.
Rob, I see your spot on 7.144, but I don't hear you.
To early in the day for you to hear me Eric, but this is where I was. I was hearing some EU. Another hour or so till NA starts coming in.
Yeah, I figured that was why. I'm up for just a wee bit more, so I will listen again for your signal.
World Wide Flora and Fauna is the radio awards program i partake in mostly going portable as a park activator. But I also do a bit of number collecting. This is my latest award.
More wall paper. This is one took 5 years to achieve.
20 meters appears to be opened from the East Coast into Europe. Made a few 'phone contacts into Europe @ 2245 GMT.
Did a bit of portable today.
Good for you Rob, I left my gear at home since this trip doesn't lend itself to radio. Next time perhaps, next year when the itinerary isn't so preordained. Enjoy!
Well, yesterday, 40 was dead in the later afternoon, so I didn't get my usual CW ragchew. I pulled the big switch and came back at 2100. "Surely there'll be somebody on 80." Nope. Maybe five FT8 signals. That what a geomagnetic storm and 0 sunspots will get you.
I expect today will be about the same.
