    Felix OK9UWU and Tomi @HA6NAB are credited as intercepting and recording the signals by the mysterious "" who appears to have done the heavy-lifting on decode (unless that's Felix in disguise ;)) Quite an interesting web site.

    Younger Zedders should realize that radio amateurs have a long and distinguished legacy of contributing to the public transparency of space flight communications since the beginning with Sputnik.

    Here is a blog that details some of that continuing saga; Notable instances of recovering images or data from space missions.

    Includes examples like Larry W4EJA and others monitoring Apollo activity.
