I am having a heck of a problem find a route for the power cable from the battery to my radio inside the car. Any ideas how to route the cable.

Some people look for a rubber bung or grommit in the fire wall and run the wires from the battery to the radio through there.. the wires are fused on both the negative and the positive side at the battery. The fuse holders are usually included in the power wires supplied by the radio manufacturer but if they are not I strongly suggest you add them for your protection. I also suggest that zip ties be used to secure the power wires away from hot components near the engine.

If you do this on the passenger side you can access the wires behind the glove box under the dash.

An easy way to do this is to tape a piece of solid wire to the power cables and gently thread it through like a needle.. It is a good idea to tape the end of the solid wire also, so as not to nick anything.
