    I
I have had better luck with diamond drills (or diamond hole saws for larger diameters). The diamond dust wears off quickly, so I would buy several bits for one project.

For the amount of time and money I'd spend getting all of the stuff together, It'd be cheaper for me to buy something better, I guess.

It wouldn't hurt to paint some flames on the side. That will give you at least 2-3 WPM extra:)

Rumor is that some ops in excess of 30wpm have achieved it because they wear their XYL's underwear.

    But don't quote me.

For the record, I'm nowhere near that.

My grandson kept asking me, "Why do they call it a key? Doesnt look like a key to me." So I built this from an old housekey and one of his candy containers. Works pretty well! Housekey.jpg

I'm tempted to make a straight key out of a lockpick now.

The uses of those countertop samples are endless. I use them frequently to 'mount' many things.

Goal: Simplicity with parts on hand. Iambic with hidden wires.

Works up to about 30 wpm. Then the contacts start bouncing.

This is getting serious now! Here"s one made from 1/4" strips of an old gift card and copper foil stained-glass tape. largepaddle.jpg
