The other day I was thinking about a simple homebrew project. Wouldn't take much real estate. But I'm too lazy to drive 40 miles to get board materials. And I'm not payin $30 at ratshack for the stuff to do my own etching.

Then I thought about the time I used to do stained glass. The copper foil method. I used an adhesive backed copper foil that flowed solder very nicely. Was wondering if it might make a decent *poor man's* trace material.

    Here's a link to an example - http://www.glasscrafters.biz/CTGY/foil

That will work just fine. And you can also get silver tape, if you want to be a bit fancier. (Pretty soon copper will be the price of silver anyway!)

Yeah, that's definitely a way to do it. They sell the same thing for fixing up pc boards. But why go to the bother of a pc-board. Just manhattan or ugly style it.
