Hi guy's, in DHS's NIFOG and AUXFOG there is a list of HF calling frequencies. Googling I found nothing about these freq's except 7.290 being used by W1AW. Are real calling freq's?

    Band (MHz) Mode
    80m 03.885 AM
    40m 07.290 AM
    20m 14.286 AM
    10m 28.400 USB

Those have been standard for as long as I've been a ham (47 years) and are "real"

Note for the AM frequencies: best to only use AM. Also, tune around a few KHz up and down. There's quite a lot of AM activity on 75 meters near the calling frequency.

And you can use 7.290 any time you want if it's not in use. ARRL doesn't own the frequency. If it's clear, call! (on AM)
