Why does my Henry 2KD-5 have 6 primary taps on the power transformer. One would think that connecting 1 & 6 and then taps 3 & 4 would put the two primaries in series for 240, but it only gives me 1/2 output from the transformer. It's hard to find any information on this particular transformer. (No, the model number is worn off.) However, by connecting 1 & 6 and 3 & 5, I get everything that I'm supposed to get voltage wise on the secondary. I know that Henry made changes without documentation sometimes. Until I can get a print for this transformer, I'm not too comfortable letting it fly like this. Any information can be sent to November Five Victor Uniform at ATT.net.
