I picked up a Henry 2K 4 amplifier it uses 2 glass tubes believe to be 3-500's.

Looks clean and in good shape.

    What are they selling for?

    Thanks, Ernest

"Looks clean and in good shape" doesn't say it actually works.

    How does it work?

A properly working 2K-4 all checked out and guaranteed is easily worth $1000. One that's not checked out and confirmed working properly is worth a lot less, because if it hasn't been used in some time, it's likely not to work. 3-500Z's go bad just sitting (unlike receiving tubes, which can sit 50 years and still work fine). If the tubes haven't been transmitting in more than a year, the chances they're bad are very high. That reduces the amp value by the cost of two new tubes, which is $360 worth.
