It's really not at all. Just create a new post in the Ham Gear for Sale section, write your ad, then click "upload a file" down at the bottom right to choose the photo to upload. It's absolutely no different than your post you just made asking this question - just add the step of "upload a file" Just make sure to follow the rules for photos: https://forums.qrz.com/index.php?th...s-all-sellers-read-this-do-not-ignore.903842/ Dave W7UUU
I have the ad ready its the photos I am having trouble with, the 3rd party will not let me reduce the size of photos can't figure their website instructions.
If using a Windows PC, you can open the image with Photos (Windows built-in photo viewer). There is a resizing option, use that to reduce the image to an acceptable file size then upload the resized photo using the "Upload a File" option in the post editor. Do NOT use a remote image hosting site with linking, this method often fails on QRZ and results in an ad with non-visible photos which then gets removed by moderators. Attach the image directly from your PC using the above method for best results. Also please do not resize the photo too far below the maximum allowable resolution or it may be too small for proper readability. The item and callsign note must be clearly and easily visible in the photo. Good luck with your ad.
If you need to resize your images go here: https://www.reduceimages.com/ Once you resize them simply upload them into your ad. Ronnie NZ4X
Forget it, to much trouble , I tried that didn't work. I will sell in another form local. If I had known I was going to have this much trouble I wouldn't have subscribed to QRZ
Sorry you feel this way, it's usually not this much of a hassle. What is the original file size of the photos, and how are you trying to add them? What is this "3rd party" site you are using? If it's a hosting site, have you tried the (preferred and recommended) method of directly uploading the photos from your PC using the "Upload a File" option? That usually works with no issues unless the photo is especially large.
That image size isn't necessarily a problem, it depends on the actual file size. How large is the file in MB?
