If Rt. 66 could call on 40 meters, It would be a great help. As 20 meters is too close, an I get skipped over. W6L W6N W60 W6P W6Q Get totally skipped over in Arkansas and I'm sure others as well. Have the same problem with "The twelve days of Christmas " event. Thank you for your attention to this matter. JOE W9JAB 73
I've not been able to get W6Z. Looking at DX summit it appears he just comes on at no particular time and doesn't stay very long. I would have a clean sweep if it weren't for him. Also, he has been reported to be on a frequency and when I would go there, on SSB, and either a Pota station or one of the other Rt 66 stations would be there. KB5ROD Roger
Several stations have not shown as being on the air. I have worked the KS,MO,AZ,NM and CA stations but nothing else. It seems like some signed up for the event but rarely or never got on the air.
I use "Ham Aleart" that let's you know when preselected stations are on the air, After I contacted Rt 66 staff about 20 meters skipping over me they started using more 40 and 80 meters, finished with a clean sweep 9/16.
Congratulations! I have been checking DXSummit before tuning around. This weekend should be interesting as it is the wrap up.
