    Hi Guys

Hope one of you will be able to assist to resolve this problem.

    • Please note we using a home-built sound card interface
    • Using HRD as radio in WSJT-X
    • Radio is Kenwood TS-2000
    • Receive is OK
    • Radio's PTT light comes on but NO power goes out (this is the actual problem)
Please refer to picture below for WSJT-X settings not sure if its correct.

    Thanks in advance.

The CAT and VOX will turn on the transmitter. But where are you inputting audio? If you use CAT or VOX you must put the audio in the mic port on the front. If you are using the ACC2 audio input, you must use the PTT control on the ACC2 port also. The PTT control on the ACC also mutes the mic and allows audio in the ACC2.

I used a SignaLink+ for long time, the one with 3mm audio inputs and the RJ45 to the ACC2 port. But it sorta crapped out. I now input audio to the mic, audio out from the phones and key with the CAT. VOX will work too. Use single point ground of your radio, computer, etc and you really don't need an interface. I just go directly from the phones and mic to the sound card, works for me. Make sure you keep the ALC to 1 bar or less, less is better, but you should have a solid steady output, like CW or FM on a PO meter.
