I'm restoring an SB 610 monitor scope, and wondering if anyone has info on where a source for the .1uf 1200 volt , and .15 uf 1600 volt filter caps can be found. Thanks

Looking for a couple of pieces only. Seems like Mouser, MCM only sell in large quantities. any other sites?

Internet web sites and Refresh/Rebuild articles for Heathkit SB-610 have existed since the late 1960s.
You should have a Paper Assembly Manual & Schematic to Reference on your Workbench.

This is incorrect. Mouser will sell in any quantity.

I got the caps for my SB-610 from www.justradios.com in Canada. They do have a US$25 min however, but I usually don't have an issue making an order for that much.

FWI pay attention to the large resistors tolerances. Mine had drifted significantly and really benefited from replacement. Seems like I remember that the focus circuit is a typical problem. I upped the wattage on mine and it's worked fine for a few years now.

Its strange. All the voltages on mine are within a few volts of what they are supposed to be, (some exceeding). Yet my display is very dim. I have the HV caps to replace but it looks like the voltages are within specifications. I specifically look in the FOCUS and Brightness circuits.

    Sounds like a weak CRT.

I've used the kits from both Data Pro and Hayseed Hamfest. Both are well worth the money.
