Heathkit SB-200 HV Question

    OK went over board checked and re-soldered a few connections nothing seems wrong.. Plugged into a regular outlet.. getting about 2300 volts now I assume outlet is probably higher voltage than 120 volts.. probably 125 volts.. So as far as i am concerned it looks good to go.. Next is putting in tubes to see if they work..

    Looks like moderator combined both threads into one (here). Why it wasn't combined in the Amplifier section (where the other thread was) is a mystery.
    Another reason why you shouldn't start multiple threads on the same topic. :)

    Sounds like one of the solder joints on top of the hv caps wasn’t making contact with the circuit board.
