On the air now for just over 2 weeks, the new Yaesu DR-1X repeater with the HSI-200 Wires-X interface
is on 145.490- PL123, allows both Digital (C4FM) and Analog RF users. The node is AH6DX-RPT and the
    room is "HAWAII-LINK".

Why is this news? It is the 1st Wires-X operational repeater in the Hawaiian Islands, which by itself is
pretty noteworthy, so now that this is the first here in Hawaii, we hope more Wires-X capable repeaters
and nodes will find life here in the islands suitable and that as more Hawaii hams go "System Fusion" they
will use "HAWAII-LINK" as their "home room".

Please contact Tommy KH6TA at ah6dx@aol.com for additional info.
