I'm looking at a PAR Omniangle OA-50 for 6m http://www.parelectronics.com/oa50-specs.php but will have a hard time raising that on a mast. Can I hang it from a tree? I figure I can shoot a line up to 50ft and haul it up, tied at three points from a line over a limb above and stabilized by a line from below tied at three points. Kind of a trigonal diamond of nylon rope - and a line from one side to prevent spin.

I use a PAR Omni on 6 meters mounted on a 25 foot mast. I don't see why your scheme would not work. I think I would try to provide some support for the coax so it is not hanging from the connector. Good luck!

Sure thing; I've done that before with a M2 HO loop for stealth. Have fun on six!
