I'am getting back into active radio service after 2 yrs out of it ,I lost my station in a house fire two year ago ,now i'm kicking myself for not buying insurance for my equipment . lost 2 vintage hybrid radio's one kenwood ts 520, 100 watts in mint shape and the other a ts 820, 200 watts gold edition which kenwood only build a few of them, a yeasu ft 857d and ft 897 . for serious dx work I use the kenwood radio's and use yeasu radio's for daily work' it's take's some time working on getting back on the air ,but making it happen 73's George kc8rng
It's a great event, that just keeps getting better. If you're a ham you need to attend Dayton at least one time. And bring a friend. They don't have to be a ham, but they will become interested in the hobby.
