    Nothing wrong with Tubed gear . they can handle a lot more then solid state , solid state is iffy on a lot of things and they just look gorgeous . My hat is off to people that still use hollow state gear. especially Collins gear !

    I only go for Yaesu rigs and Tubed gear the rest i dislike . the only problem with tubed rigs is you have to tune them up before using them . other then that they are grand rigs and they last forever , something modern solid state cannot and probably will not do for the majority of them.
