I'd have to look at the application and meeting minutes. I do not have access.
Edit: it seems Minutes are online, but submitted applications don't seem to be.

As has been posted, no they don't. As for the applicants, there is a process for coordination application. If the process is not followed, or there is a problem with the request, then coordination can not happen.

It seems the system there was broken...
And someone had to bring it to the attention of the larger community.
If they had been doing their job we would have never heard about it.

Can you tell us, without looking it up, the process for coordinating repeaters in Florida? How long is the application? Do you have any idea what the percentage of improperly submitted applications is? Do you know if the Council votes on a coordination or does the District Director make the decision? Do problems stem from individual Directors or malcontent applicants or both?

As for bringing it to the attention of the "larger community", what business is it of non-Floridians?

I can tell you the application was filled out and submitted.
I can also tell you they sat on it for an unreasonable amount of time.
That wouldn't happen in ether Southern or the rest of the state.
We have two coordination groups in this state for 2-meters.

    Was it filled out correctly?
Who is they? Again, can you tell me, without looking it up, if it is a Council or Director issue?
Well good for California. Yeah, sarcasm, sorry.

I've let myself get too invested in this. It's partially because I have heard some of the horror stories from the other side.
In my less than completely informed opinion, I think the "unhappy" Directors/participants should either elect new Directors or turn coordination over to SERA.

Watch the video at the top of this thread....
    Also...
Nobody from the coordinating group rebutted the claims made by the person in the video.
    Therefore it must be factual.
