Hamfest

The 11th Annual Evansville Winter Hamfest will be presented by Evansville
Amateur Radio society and the Ham Station on Sat. 29 Nov., 8-2 p.m. Central
time. The Hamfest will be held at the Vanderburgh County 4-H Fairgrounds
Auditorium, 201 E. Boonville-New Harmony Rd., Evansville, IN 47725.
Indiana's fastest-growing hamfest includes: a large indoor facility, free
tailgating (weather permitting), concessions by Old Post ARS, hourly
prizes, license exams, commercial vendors, and free parking. Talk-in will
be on the EARS repeater system 145.150 (­600) (107.2 CTCSS), with a backup
145.110 (­600) (107.2 CTCSS) At the door adm is $5, and tables are $10 each
